How to Join Facebook

Here is a step by step guide on how to join Facebook prior to joining the MAP Workshop Alumni group and/or becoming a fan of MAP.

1. Point your browser to http://www.facebook.com
   
   
2. On the home page, type in your name, email, and other information in the form on the right of the page.

3. Once complete, check the email you typed in and confirm your email address. The confirmation message should arrive within 15 minutes.
   
   Please be sure to add to your safe senders list, facebook.com and facebookmail.com, in order to prevent Facebook emails from ending up in your junk or spam folder.
   
   
4. Return to Facebook and login with your email address and password.

5. Confirm you are logged in by viewing your name in the top bar to the right.

Once you have joined Facebook, you can now request membership in the MAP Workshop Alumni group and/or become a fan on our Official MAP page to stay informed.
