We have been in business for over 25 years and employ over 2,000 people. We have earned many awards, including The International Franchise Association’s “Franchisee of the Year.”

We have been integrating the MAP program into our corporate culture for the past two years, and have systematically introduced and integrated the MAP procedures starting with our senior executives, then implementing it throughout the corporate office, and finally into our restaurants. The clear result of this association has been our focus on the “Vital Factors” and “Goals & Controls” that have greatly improved our performance. We have learned to focus on the things that make a difference using the MAP process.

When we started using the MAP process, our same store sales for our 69 restaurants were negative 9.4%. Now two years into the MAP program, our same store sales are a positive 10.4%. We attribute the turnaround, in large part, to using the system under your leadership as the senior consultant for MAP.

You personally have been a source of inspiration and have provided great leadership to our company from the senior management team down to our restaurant managers. Your vast business experience has been very beneficial to me personally, as I have discussed many strategies and challenging situations that have arisen in our company over the past two years.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to write you a letter of recommendation. Your contributions to the success of our company over the past 18 months have been substantial. I was extremely skeptical about the MAP process and the results you and others claimed it could provide. I remember thinking after my first day in the MAP workshop that I was “wasting my time.” 18 months later, I am happy to say that I was very wrong.

At the time I was first introduced to MAP I was just beginning a new role as Vice President in charge of Operations with my company. I was asked to take on this assignment even though I had very little experience with this side of the business. The accomplishments of my team and I in the last year have been great. With your help and guidance I was able to transform the culture of my company with virtually zero experience in my new role. I have been able to implement systems that were nonexistent within my company and significantly upgrade my team. Most importantly I was able to gain the respect of those that I lead.
